Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting on-set during client shoots — restaurants, real estate, wellness, hospitality, and lifestyle production days

  • Capturing photo and video content for client social media (Reels, TikTok, Stories, feed

posts) and supporting our lead videographer / photographer during larger productions

  • Contributing viral and trend-driven content ideas — staying close to what's working on

TikTok and Reels and adapting it to client brands

  • Assisting in directing talent and clients on-set — angles, lighting, framing, on-camera

    prompts

  • Supporting post-production — editing short-form video in CapCut or Premiere, basic

color and sound, photo selection and light retouching

  • Behind-the-scenes capture during shoots, used for LPYD's own social channels and

    client process documentation

Skills & Requirements

What the student should already know or be interested in:

  • Already filming and shooting on their own — phone is fine, real camera is a plus

  • Strong instinct for what works on TikTok, Reels, and Instagram — understands trends,

    hooks, pacing, and visual storytelling

  • Comfortable editing short-form video in CapCut, Premiere, or similar

  • Eye for composition, lighting, and framing — even if untrained

  • Outgoing enough to direct talent on-set (or willing to grow into it)

  • Reliable on shoot days — production runs on time and energy

  • Bonus — but not required: photo editing (Lightroom), Premiere or DaVinci Resolve,

owns a camera or stabilizer, has a personal content channel with real engagement

  • We don't expect students to arrive as experts — we expect curiosity, taste, and the willingness

    to learn quickly.

What the Student Will Gain

  • Hands-on experience in: professional client shoots from start to finish — pre-pro,

on-set capture, and post — across a wide range of industries and locations

  • Exposure to: how content strategy and production actually connect — why we shoot

what we shoot, how we package it, and how performance feeds back into the next shoot

  • Mentorship: direct working relationships with LPYD's content lead and co-founders, with shot-by-shot feedback on the work the intern captures and edits

  • Other benefits: a real, portfolio-ready reel of client work (with client approval), a

certificate of completion, a written reference letter for future creative roles, and the

chance to publish behind-the-scenes content on LPYD's own channels

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Fields of interest: Film, Cinematography, Photography, Digital Media, Communications, Marketing, Fine Arts, or any creative field where the student is already producing content on their own

Preferred traits: creative, outgoing, observant, fast on their feet, has strong visual taste, lives on TikTok and Reels, and brings ideas to the table without being asked
