Through mentorship, thoughtful activities, and a supportive community, we aim to foster resilience, instill a sense of purpose, and cultivate the skills necessary for a successful and fulfilling academic and personal life.

"As the director of the Monarch Circle of Impact (MCI) program, my aim is to recreate the magic of those Sunday mentoring sessions that played a pivotal role in shaping the person I am today. I am driven by the desire to pay forward the invaluable help I received and complete a 'full circle,'. This program is a manifestation of my journey, sharing the lessons I've learned and aiming to guide my fellow ambassadors, ensuring they navigate their paths with fewer pitfalls and more self-discovery. It's about fostering a community where each participant can embark on a journey of growth and development."

our program

The program involves weekly Zoom meetings (every Sunday) led by the Program Director. During these sessions, the ambassadors will be tasked with thought-provoking questions, personality tests, creation of a personal manifesto, setting goals for the semester, reading designated books, listening to podcasts, and TED Talks. Additionally, our mentoring sessions will cover relevant topics such as:

· Resilience

· Delayed gratification

· Proactive vs reactive

· Fear of failure

· Dealing with high expectations

· Less impressed more involved

· Finding one’s purpose

· Dealing with homesickness

Students are expected to discuss and draw personal relevance from the provided materials, fostering a proactive and reflective learning environment.

We believe in the holistic development of our ambassadors through this dynamic program that cultivates self-awareness, resilience, and the pursuit of one’s purpose. Our goal is to guide students in setting and achieving meaningful milestones, fostering a positive impact on their academic journey and personal growth. Through engaging activities, mentorship, and a supportive network, we aspire to equip students with the skills and mindset needed for long-term success in both their studies and lives beyond the university.

The Monarch Circle of Impact has given me tools, perspectives, company, and life lessons I will apply for the rest of my life. I think this program has given me stability and has helped me keep myself on track for school and life in general. It has given me motivation, it has helped me set clear expectations and goals for my future and most importantly it has given me an immense amount of confidence in myself, I’ve always believed in myself and thought of myself as a capable person, but having the tools to make my goals happen and having a great mentor to guide us through the program has made a huge difference in the way I act on a daily basis.

Having the opportunity to share this space on Sundays with the other ambassadors has been amazing, not only do we hear the mentorship, we all nourish each other every day by sharing our assignments and we learn from each other.
