Founder's Apprentice (Agency Operations & Strategy) - PAID - $5000 MXN/MNTH

This is the most demanding internship on the LPYD roster, and the most unusual. The apprentice will shadow LPYD's co-founders directly across the full range of activities involved in running a modern digital marketing agency — from client strategy and pitching, to team management, to platform operations, to the actual business of how an agency earns money. It is designed for a student who is genuinely curious about how a services business is built and run, who wants to learn how to think and operate the way agency operators do, and who may one day want to start something of their own. This is not a single-function role; it is a learn-the-whole-business role. Approx. hours per week: 20–25

Paid Ads & Data Analyst Intern - $5000/mnth
  • Location: Hybrid — San José del Cabo, Baja California Sur (with remote flexibility)

  • Dates / Duration: Flexible

  • Schedule: Monday–Thursday, flexible hours between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM

  • Approx. hours per week: 20–25

Key responsibilities
  • Shadowing the founders through client calls, internal meetings, and strategy sessions — with clear notes and follow-ups after each

  • Supporting day-to-day operations across platforms and systems (GoHighLevel, ClickUp, Cal.com, Google Workspace) — keeping pipelines clean, tasks moving, and calendars aligned

  • Helping coordinate the LPYD team — communicating with content producers,

contractors, and freelancers about deliverables and timelines

  • Sitting in on client communication and drafting follow-up emails, meeting recaps, and

    next-step proposals for founder review

  • Supporting the build-out of audits, proposals, and pitch decks — from research, to first

    draft, to final polish

  • Observing and participating in pricing and scoping conversations (with the understanding that these are confidential)

  • Learning the 10X Business System framework that LPYD applies to its own sales and

marketing — and applying it to internal work

  • Picking up the broader business mechanics: how leads become clients, how scopes are

priced, how teams are paid, how an agency actually makes money

Skills & Requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English (Spanish a strong plus)

  • Mature, discreet, and trustworthy — this role involves exposure to client information,

    internal pricing, and strategic conversations

  • Genuine curiosity about business, sales, and how services companies are built

  • Comfortable being thrown into unfamiliar situations and figuring them out

  • Self-directed, proactive, and not afraid to ask questions

  • Bonus — but not required: prior exposure to sales, customer service, hospitality, or any role that involves managing relationships under pressure

What the Student Will Gain
  • Hands-on experience in: how an agency is run end-to-end — from cold lead, to live

client, to monthly retainer, to renewal•

  • Exposure to: every part of the business — strategy, sales, operations, team

management, client communication, and the financial logic underneath all of it

  • Mentorship: direct, daily working relationships with both LPYD co-founders — the most intensive mentorship offered across the LPYD roster

  • Other benefits: deep understanding of the 10X Business System framework,

portfolio-ready examples of pitch decks and strategy work, a certificate of completion,

and a strong written reference letter — plus, for the right student, an honest assessmen of whether agency work or eventual entrepreneurship is a fit for them

Ideal candidate profile

Fields of interest: Business, International Business, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality Management, or any field where the student has shown initiative outside the classroom

Preferred traits: ambitious, mature, discreet, hungry to learn, comfortable with ambiguity, asks good questions, follows up without being chased, and would genuinely consider starting something of their own one day

A Note on Confidentiality

Because this role involves exposure to client information, internal pricing, and strategic conversations, the apprentice will be asked to sign a brief confidentiality agreement before starting. This is standard practice for any role with this level of internal access, and we will walk the student through it during the onboarding conversation.
